An unusual tribute to the crew of HMS Good Hope can be found outside
the Craddock block in Portsmouth, UK.
In 2000/1, an external refurbishment of the Admiral blocks, in Portsmouth,
was carried out, and during the work a silhoutte of HMS Good Hope
was incorporated into the railings outside the Craddock block. The
gun holes were designed to act as seats and a play features. |
The silhouette of Good Hope which was laser cut from 5mm plate, and
the railings were manufactured, installed and painted by J.B.Corrie
